Weather Closure Announcement for January 9th, 2024
Dear Waterford Graded Families,
Due to the forecasted winter weather warning with a significant chance of snow accumulation exceeding 8 inches and hazardous travel warnings, all Waterford Graded schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. Additionally, all after-school activities, including sports, clubs, programs, and activities offered by the Recreation department, scheduled for January 9th, are also canceled.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. After careful consideration of the latest weather forecasts and consultation with the National Weather Service, we believe closing schools is the most prudent decision to ensure everyone's safety during their commute.
We understand this closure may cause inconvenience, and we apologize for any disruption to your schedule. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
