Forward Testing

Dear Fox River Families:

Please be aware that students will begin taking the Wisconsin Forward Exam shortly after we return from break.  The Forward Exam is designed to gauge how well students are doing in relation to the Wisconsin Academic Standards.  These standards outline what students should know and be able to do in order to be college and career ready.  More information can be found at the link below.

Please also be advised that corded earphones/headphones are required for the listening portion of the Forward Test.  Corded earphones can be purchased for $2.00 in the Fox River Office.  If you plan on purchasing headphones from the office, please do in advance of the testing dates.  Should your student(s) prefer the corded headphone variety, here is a link to a suggested version.

Please ensure students get plenty of sleep, dress comfortably, and eat breakfast whether at home or here at school.  In addition to bringing their Chromebooks and earphones/headphones, students should bring snacks, a water bottle, and a choice book to read in the event they finish early.

Thank you for ensuring that your student is prepared and for making this a successful testing period.   Should you have any questions, please contact the Fox River office.
