On Friday, May 5, 2023, Fox River Middle School and Educators Credit Union will be hosting an event for 8th-grade students called Reality Check Day. 8th-grade students will participate in a "real life" career and budgeting simulation. Students will choose a career and be given parameters to work within as they navigate their budget to balance housing, child care, groceries, transportation, clothing, utilities, entertainment, etc. We need about 40 volunteers to create the best experience for our 8th-grade students. It is always a super fun learning event!
* *Volunteers are needed from 7 am-9:30 am on Friday, May 5th. While this event is strictly for the 8th Grade, all volunteers are welcome.
