WGSD Families, On Friday afternoon, the Department of Health Services (DHS) released updated post-vaccination guidance for schools. You can review the article in the attached image. Starting today, Monday, May 17th, students and staff who are exposed to a probable or positive COVID-19 case, will not need to quarantine if they choose not to if they are not showing symptoms. We ask that you continue to monitor your child for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days after exposure. Please refer to the article for complete guidance. Waterford Graded School District will continue to follow the requirements of masking, social distancing, proper ventilation, and hand hygiene in order to meet the new guidelines by DHS. These new guidelines support our mission to keep our students in the physical building and engage the students in all areas of academics. Thank you for your support, WGSD Administrative Team
