Teaching, Learning, & Technology

The Teaching and Learning Department drives academic success in a school district.  This includes, but is not limited to, supporting educators with professional development, shaping curriculum that meets state standards while being relevant and engaging for students, and promoting student achievement by tracking student progress through assessments and data analysis.

Overall, the Teaching and Learning Department works to ensure that all students in the district receive a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, careers, and life.

These guiding questions drive the District's curriculum, instruction,  and assessment processes and practices:

  • What do we want students to know and be able to do?

  • How will we know they have learned it?

  • How will we respond when some students do not learn it?

  • How can we respond when students have already learned it?
