Public Library News - May

Little Bookworms is at 9:30am for children 4 and under (with their caregivers). Sign language, stories, finger plays, and songs are included in the 20 minute sessions. Thursday, May 4. No registration is required.

Preschool Workshop – Preschool Workshop is offered to all children 5 and under. These interactive, hands-on sessions will focus on science, music and movement, and the arts. Pre-kindergarten skills such as following directions, interacting with peers, motor skills, reasoning and cognitive processes, science exploration, math concepts, creative arts, and more will be explored at varying levels to encourage participation from everyone. Sessions are held at 10:00am. Friday, May 5. No registration is required.

Build A Better World Storytime
Wednesday, May 17 at 10:00am
Join us for this special storytime event where we will read stories and enjoy music and movement activities to teach participants what Building a Better World is all about. Information about the summer reading program will be available at this event.

Teen Scene
Wednesdays in May
Tweens and teens in grades 6 and up are invited to join us for Teen Scene! All teens that are interested are invited to walk up to the library after school and hang out in the Community Room from 3:00pm – 4:30pm on Wednesdays (will not be held on April 19). Teens will be supervised while they hang out, do homework, or choose one of the games and activities we will provide. They are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks. Teens must have a valid library card to participate.

TAB Meeting
